Check out my list of all the best smart home switches I've reviewed! Please be aware that I have personally tested all the smart home switches shown below to allow you to find the best product for your needs! I really hope my research points you in the right direction. These are some of my favorite smart Wi-Fi enabled light switches at the moment, so I'm sure you will be very impressed by their features and what I have to say regarding them.
Etekcity Smart Dimmer WiFi Light Switch with RGB (Nightlight Neutral Wire Required, Works with Alexa, Google Home and IFTTT, FCC/ETL Listed)
Very cool: RGB selectable "nightlight" feature, easy-to-press dimmer and power buttons, integrates seamlessly with Google/Alexa, simple installation.
Not cool: I was hoping it would be a "touch" dimmer, similar to a touch screen on the phone, but it requires a physical press to dim/brighten/turn on and off.
Overall: At $25 it's a great deal and a fantastic alternative to spending much more of several bulbs (for example, if you want to smart control fan lights).
Lumary L-DS100 Dimmer Smart Light Switch with Wifi and Touch Controls, Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant
Very cool: Touch controls, very nice nightlight effect, easy to use, setup was a breeze.
Not cool: Branding on switch (albeit small and inconspicuous, so it's not too bad), touch controls aren't perfect, clear-ish plastic face makes it hard to match.
Overall: Fantastic light if you can get it on sale. Looks amazing in just about any room.
Laghten Smart Wi-Fi Light Switch — Works with Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT (Single-Pole, Schedule, Remote Control, Neutral Wire Required, Easy Installation, No Hub required)
Very cool: Affordable! Simple nightlight when off. Integrated with Smart Life easily. Not an "angled" paddle switch. Accessible reset switch.
Not cool: Mechanical press feels "off" sometimes. I feel like the nightlight flickers very faintly. Had a little bit of trouble with setup at first.
Overall: For around $60 for a four pack of smart lights ($15/light) it's a great deal if you don't mind the button.
Kasa Smart Light Switch by TP-Link HS200 – WiFi Light Switch, Works with Alexa & Google, Needs Neutral Wire
Very cool: Clean, elegant design. Simple "nightlight." Satisfying click.
Not cool: Tied to "Kasa" app (no Smart Life support). More pricey. "Slanted" paddle design.
Overall: If you're not OCD about your switches like me, this is a no-brainer. When compared to cheaper smart switches, you can see and feel the "premium" you get with TP-Link.
